Colorado born sculptor, Parker McDonald, is having a blast with
metal.
Parker was born in Boulder in 1963, has an AA in fine art from NJC,
in Sterling Co., and is currently living in Minnesota. Successful
in many areas of art, sculpture, is the prime focus today. ”I
love what I’m able to do with a welder. Working cold welded
steel is a challenge, but its also immediate, and spontaneous and
has a unique personality.”
Achievements: 1999 Mn. D.U. Artist of the Year, 2005 Indiana Trout
Stamp, many large scale murals, and public sculpture in Monticello,
Big Fork, and Effie, Mn.; and many private collections.
